From Australia to Japan

Japanese Restaurant Sydney | Juan Bowl & Tea

"Juan Bowl & Tea" was opened by owner-chef Anna Ishiguro on October 11, 2017, in Sydney, Australia. Drawing from her experience as a designer, she offers beautifully crafted rice bowls that blend traditional flavors with a modern, cross-cultural touch. The restaurant quickly became popular, with long lines from the very beginning, thanks to its signature tea pairings for each bowl. On June 30, 2024, the second location of Juan Bowl & Tea will open in Omotesando, Tokyo, marking its debut in Japan. The original concept for the Sydney location was to create a stylish rice bowl restaurant that you would find in Omotesando, so Tokyo was chosen as the first step for expanding into Asia. At Juan Bowl & Tea Tokyo, we will offer the four signature rice bowls from our Sydney flagship, now served in a set meal style using carefully selected Japanese ingredients. As in Sydney, we also provide tea pairings tailored to each bowl. With customer satisfaction and smiles as our top priority, Juan Bowl & Tea aims to deliver consistent quality and exceptional service."
